Platform Improvements and Bug Fixes

BigQuery Cost Analysis

Dive deep into your Google Cloud Platform costs with our new feature that lets you analyze the cost of your BigQuery queries. Now, you can pinpoint exactly which SQL query is impacting your GCP bill the most. Break down costs by table, dataset, or even by the user who ran the query!

AWS Dashboards with Ready-to-Use Templates

Utilizing templates crafted from AWS cost best practices, you can now monitor the most expensive AWS services across Compute, Storage, Network, and Invoice categories.

Platform Improvements and Bug Fixes

We're constantly improving your experience with Tailwarden. This update includes several key improvements and bug fixes:

New AWS Services Added

We've added new AWS services to our inventory page, including Nat Gateway, Route53 Hosted Zones, DirectConnect Connections, VPN Connections, KMS, VPC Flow Logs, ECR Repositories, Secret Manager, and Kinesis Firehose.

Improved Custom Widget Builder

Our widget builder now lets you group data differently and break down AWS Data Transfer by service or resource. We've also made the custom dashboard layout more flexible, allowing single stats in any row. Plus, we've fixed bugs that affected certain filters.

Data Transfer Costs

You can now create custom widgets to track your data transfer costs. This new feature allows you to break down egress fees by resource, service, region, or custom views tailored to your specific needs.

New Widget Types

To further customize your dashboard, we've introduced several new widget types:

• Single Stats: For at-a-glance metric summaries.
• Treemaps: For a hierarchical view of your cloud usage and costs.
• Stacked Bar Charts: For detailed visual comparisons of data points.

Expanded Service Support for GCP and Azure

We’re expanding our service inventory with the addition of key services for GCP and Azure:

• GCP: Kubernetes, Secret Manager, and Artifact Registry.
• Azure: Firewall, Container Instance, and Snapshot.

We've made significant improvements to Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) by fixing bugs that enhance your ability to manage cost reports, custom views, and dashboards more securely and efficiently.
